Stent-Save a Life! Egypt innovates at the mega-conference CardioAlex 18

Best practice sharing between countries performing pPCI in STEMI patients is definitively one of the recommended approaches to promote the global implementation of Stent-Save a Life’s objectives.

The Stent-Save a Life! Egypt team recently took the opportunity of the international conference CardioAlex 18, held in June in Alexandria, to organise a reflection session with highly engaging topics.

Eminent speakers & chairpersons – local and foreign participants – presented and discussed the actual situation of Stent-Save a Life! in both Egypt and Tunisia as well as the economic perspective of pPCI and its cost-effectiveness.

Stent-Save a Life! Egypt had also strategically set-up its booth in the exhibition area. While featuring on a screen all the previous activities conducted by SSL Egypt, the team carried out a campaign encouraging hospital representatives to ask for login credentials in order to participate in the new National ACS registry. Anyone registering was also offered a 15-minute training on how to submit cases on the portal.

Overall, a great success again for this very dynamic and entrepreneurial team!
